Royal Blue Eyes FAQs

If you have a question that you cannot find an answer for here, please, do not hesitate to reach out to us via our contact page.

Pricing, Payments, and Deposits

How does pricing work?

Pricing is determined by several factors – primarily how close the kitten is to the breed standard. Other factors include color, personality, size, and temperament. All of our ragdolls are sweet, docile, and friendly, but some just go the extra mile!

How do payments work?

Payments can be made via Cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. (Zelle is preferred.)

All remaining balances will be due upon the receipt of the kitten and signed contract.

How do I reserve a kitten?

We require a non-refundable $500 deposit to hold your kitten. This fee will go toward the purchase of your kitten.

Reservations can begin as soon as the kittens are 3-4 weeks old once gender and color is confirmed.

The remaining balance will be due upon the receipt of the kitten.

Wait-List

What about a Wait-List?

Getting on our waitlist is the only way to gain exclusive knowledge of what queen is expecting and when a due date will be. This will guarantee you will get a kitten. We will keep you informed of the birthing process and include pictures, videos, and/or video calls of and with the kittens before they are listed on the website. You get the pick of the litter before any one else.

When we are confident of the color pattern and gender, typically 4-6 weeks of age, we will reach out to each wait-lister and they will be given 48 hours (in order as they appear on our wait-list) to decide if they want to reserve a kitten. If you chose to reserve a kitten, this would require a non-refundable $500 deposit that will go toward the purchase of your kitten. This $500 is in addition to the $500 that was spent to go on a wait-list which totals to $1,000 for your deposit.

If you want to be put on a waitlist, you will get the next pick of the litter. To get on our wait-list we require a non-refundable deposit of $500. This cost will go toward the purchase of your kitten.

Spaying & Neutering

What about Spaying & Neutering?

At Royal Blue Eyes, we believe that spaying and/or neutering ragdolls before 6-8 months of age can be a determent to their health; and therefore, it is too risky for us to consider it.

We require all kittens to be spayed and/or neutered by the time they are 10 months old and proof to be provided of the procedure by the veterinarian in order to avoid the buyer being financially responsible for the full payment for breeding rights. For more information about breeding rights, please see the section in the FAQ about breeding rights and our Health Warranty and Contract terms.

Breeding Rights

What about Breeding Rights?

The price of the kitten listed on our website is for pet / show rights only.

Should you want one of our kittens for breeding, the cost of the breeding rights is between $4,000 and $5,000 depending on how close the kitten is to the breed standard. We are very selective as to who gets breeding rights. We would love to have a conversation with you!

Delivery

Can you deliver our kitten to us?

In short, yes!

We would need to work out the details of course, but we have delivered animals across the country before. Sometimes, we drive, others, we can fly. In most cases, we prefer to drive but lets talk about the details.

At a minimum, the standard mileage reimbursement rate for business use in 2025 is 70 cents per mile, as set by the IRS.

Included in the delivery fee will be $30 to cover the cost of a small pet carrier.
